Reservation Requirements

Due to the amendment of the Inn Industry Law in December 2023, it is now mandatory for all guests to complete a “Guest Register.”
(Related to Article 6 of the Inn Industry Law)
This measure is aimed at disease prevention, allowing us to contact guests if necessary in case they are infected with specific contagious diseases or have been in contact with individuals related to such cases. Guests are required to provide the following information at the time of reservation or upon check-in at the hotel front desk.

check-in / check-out

When is the check-in and check-out time?
Check-in time is from 4:00 p.m. JST, and check-out time is until 11:00 a.m JST.
Early check-in and late-check-out are not allowed.

Check-in:
Please prepare your passport or residence card for everyone in advance, as you will need to present it upon your arrival.
Please kindly refer to our house rules and check-in procedure bofore your check-in.

We will provide two card keys for your room.
The card keys are basically two, but additional card keys can be added upon request.
Please note that if you lose the key, you will be charged an additional 3,000 yen.

Check-out:
If you have moved chairs, tables, beds, or other furniture, please return them to their original positions upon check-out. We appreciate your cooperation.

Preparation for Check-in:
Futaba Hotel will send you an e-mail for guest entry when you make a reservation.
Please fill out the required information and return it to us.
If you are not comfortable with sending the guest list (personal information) online, we ask that you fill it out on the day of check-in.
In this case, please understand that it may take some time for check-in.

If you wish to submit your application on paper on the day of your appointment, please download the form below, fill it out, and bring it to the reception desk upon your arrival.

Is it possible to leave my luggage at hotel for a while before/after check-in/out?
Yes, we can store your luggage.
You can leave your luggage before check-in or after check-out.
In this case, please contact the hotel as soon as possible with details such as the time you would like to leave your luggage.

Is there any coin-locker around Nippori station?
Yes, there are a few coin-operated-locker at Nippori station.

What is the check-in procedure?
When you check in, we ask that you fill out the information for all guests (name, address, contact information, occupation, etc.). Foreign guests who do not reside in Japan are also asked to present their passports and photo copy.


About reservations

Can I change my reservation details?
We will do our best to accommodate you. Please send a message to the hotel with your name, check-in date, and the details of the change.

How much is the cancellation fee?
The cancellation fee is 50% refundable up to 7 days prior to arrival and non-refundable after that. If you cancel within 48 hours of booking, you will receive a full refund, but only up to 14 days prior to arrival.

Can persons under the age of 18 stay at the hotel?
Yes, we accept guests under the age of 18.
At least one adult is required in the group.

If everyone in your group is under the age of 18, you will need permission from a parent or guardian.

Is the front desk staffed 24 hours a day?
Our hotel does not have a 24-hour front desk staff.
For this reason, we recommend that guests with special health requirements or those requiring special attention find other accommodations. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Can I use the Internet?
Wi-Fi is available in all rooms free of charge.

Where should I drop off my garbage during my stay?
Please kindly refer to the following instruction.
1. Sorting rule
Separate waste into burnable and non-burnable items.
*Please note: Plastic bottles are burnable, Cans are non-burnable.


Disposal Rules】

Please separate your waste into burnable and non-burnable categories.
You may either keep your waste in your room until the day of check-out or dispose of it in the designated disposal area outside the hotel (indicated by a red circle).

You are allowed to dispose of garbage daily only within this designated area.

Where are the remote controls for the room’s air conditioner and TV?
Please kindly refer to the picture below.


Is smoking allowed?
We are sorry, but smoking is not permitted in the entire building.
If smoking is found, you may be charged an additional cleaning fee.


Can I send luggage from Futaba Hotel?
Yes, it is possible.

Please contact us as soon as possible.
Please contact us in advance as we will need to know the destination, size of the package, and number of pieces.


Is there a parking lot?
No, we do not have a parking lot. However, there are some metered parkings around the hotel as below.

Is there a curfew?
No, it is available 24 hours a day .


Housekeeping Policy During Your Stay
For the protection of guest privacy and the safety of personal property, we do not provide daily cleaning services during the stay.
Rooms are cleaned after guests check out.
Please contact us if you require cleaning during your stay.


Do you provide meal services?
No, we do not provide breakfast or other meal services.
There are supermarkets and restaurants nearby.


Do you have laundry service?
Yes, laundry service is available free of charge.
A washing machine and detergent are available in the guest room.
Please use the bathroom drying system to dry your clothes and towels after washing
.

Is printing service available?
Yes, we can assist you with printing.
Please contact us with a message of your printing request.
We will do our best to assist you, so please contact us.

Copy machines are also available at convenience stores.

Are there any elevators?
Yes, we have elevators in the building.
Please note that the elevator is quite small and wheelchairs may not fit in it. Please consult with us in advance if you use a wheelchair.


Can I drink tap water?
We do not recommend drinking tap water directly due to the presence of disinfectants. It is preferable to boil the water before consuming it.

Our hotel will make a taxi reservation on your behalf.
Please contact us as soon as possible if you need this service.

➀ We will send you a “Taxi Reservation Form” from our hotel.
➁ Please fill out the reservation date, destination, and other details, and return it to us.

If you have any difficulties with the reservation form or if it does not provide enough space for your details, please send a message to our hotel.

  • Please also contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel a reserved taxi.
  • We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding our taxi cancellation policy.

Are there vending machines in the hotel?
There is a vending machine in the building next door. Although it is not owned by our hotel, please feel free to use it.

How to get to Futaba Hotel from the airport?

How far is Futaba Hotel from Nippori station?
It takes 3-5 minutes walk from the the north gate, east exit. <Search on Google map>
Please take the east exit via north ticket gate.

What does the building look like?
The photo shows the front desk on the first floor of the hotel.
